Alfred S. Lee
Al serves individuals and family businesses by designing holistic estate plans so that their hard-earned assets are protected and preserved in a manner consistent with the client’s wishes. He ensures that his clients don’t walk away with a bunch of forms to complete, but goes the extra mile to make sure that a plan is in place. Once the initial plan is put in place, Al often works with his clients to make the appropriate changes as their lives and needs evolve.
Al serves a wide spectrum of clients, from those who have basic needs to those who require more complex estate planning. Al works not only with those who need a basic plan for family and children, but he also creates and implements more complex estate plans that involve Family Limited Partnerships/Limited Liability Companies, Grantor Trusts, Charitable Trusts, and Irrevocable Life Insurance Trusts.
In addition, Al counsels clients on how to protect their assets during their lifetime. He directs clients on ways to structure their estate planning to protect their assets from unforeseen liabilities such as a lawsuit that arises from an accident or business activities. Al enjoys working with clients to empower them by highlighting the advantages and disadvantages of each decision.
Al loves working with the team at MacDonald Lee & Senechalle, Ltd. to accomplish the firm’s mission of “providing extraordinary service to our clients and to each other.” Al enjoys it so much that he has no intent of retiring. His wife, an avid golfer, is fine with this since this will allow her to focus on her game.
Al graduated from Dartmouth College and was selected as a Presidential Scholar. He obtained his law degree from Notre Dame Law School. Besides golfing with his wife, Al enjoys traveling to see his two college age kids who are attending schools on opposite coasts.
