Charles F. Maupin

Charles (“Chuck”) F. Maupin is a member of the firm’s Business Corporation, Real Estate, and Estate Planning Departments. Chuck concentrates his transactional practice in the areas of corporate and business law, commercial real estate, estate planning, succession planning, and probate and trust administration. Chuck represents clients from various backgrounds and business sectors.

Chuck really enjoys building relationships with his clients and their families and assisting them with both personal and business needs. Because of his knowledge in both estate planning and business law, Chuck represents many clients who own closely held businesses. He assists with corporate transactions and day-to-day business legal needs which can help the business grow in value. He also assists with succession planning and exit strategies when the primary owner decides to remove themselves from the business operations, to maximize the value received from years of hard work, and transition wealth to the next generation or charitable endeavors.

Chuck earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in 2002. He subsequently obtained his law degree from Valparaiso University in 2006, where he graduated cum laude and was a note writer and editor for the Valparaiso law Review.

Chuck is married with 4 children and currently lives in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Chuck and his family attend The Orchard Church in Arlington Heights. He enjoys playing golf and basketball, coaching his kid’s youth sport’s teams, and playing board games. He is currently a board member and coach for Prospect Girls Feeder Basketball.
